Effective 6 September 2026
Terms of Service
These terms govern provider accounts, public booking pages, client bookings, payments, and Hajenda subscriptions.
1. Eligibility and accounts
Provider accounts are for people aged 18 or older who can enter a binding agreement. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and use Hajenda only for lawful services.
2. Provider responsibilities
Providers control their service descriptions, prices, availability, fulfilment, cancellation rules, taxes, licences, client communications, and the legality and quality of their services. Hajenda supplies booking and payment technology and is not the service provider.
3. Client bookings and payments
Paid bookings are processed by Paystack. The displayed total includes the provider’s service price and Hajenda’s disclosed ₦50 booking fee. Paystack processing charges are deducted from the provider’s service proceeds. Free services skip payment and the ₦50 fee. Providers authorise Hajenda and its payment processor to route and reconcile these amounts.
4. Standard subscription
Standard is available monthly for ₦5,000, every 6 months for ₦27,000, or yearly for ₦48,000. The 6-month and yearly prices represent 10% and 20% savings against paying monthly for the same period. The selected cycle renews on that cycle. Web subscriptions are handled by Paystack; Android in-app subscriptions are handled by Google Play. Billing, cancellation, refund, and payment-method management may also be governed by the processor or store used to subscribe. Access continues through the paid period, subject to any stated grace period.
5. Cancellations, refunds, and disputes
Each provider sets the client-cancellation policy for each service. Hajenda displays and records the policy accepted when a booking is made. Ordinary booking refunds are arranged directly between the provider and client outside Hajenda. When the client cancels, the stated percentage applies to the provider's net settlement after the ₦50 Hajenda fee and Paystack's recorded processing charge. When the provider cancels, the provider owes the client the complete amount the client paid. Hajenda records these obligations but does not describe an ordinary cancellation refund as processed or guaranteed.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Hajenda for unlawful, deceptive, dangerous, age-inappropriate, infringing, or prohibited goods or services; bypass plan limits; interfere with security; scrape private data; or misuse payment and notification systems.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Hajenda available and accurate, but internet, processor, store, or maintenance failures can occur. We may change features or these terms and will request renewed consent when a material change requires it.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict an account to protect users, comply with law or processor rules, investigate abuse, or address unpaid subscriptions. You may request account deletion. Some booking, transaction, security, and compliance records may be retained where law or legitimate fraud-prevention needs require it.
